The Solar Voters Alliance works to uplift the voices of the 250,000+ people working in the solar and storage industries. Working together, we work to hold lawmakers accountable and cultivate solar champions to fight for a bright solar future.
What We Do
The US solar and storage industry is growing fast to provide reliable, clean, low cost energy to homes and businesses across the country. Last year alone, the US solar market installed 32.4 GW of capacity, a remarkable 51% increase from 2022. The combined solar deployment accounted for over half of all the new generating capacity added to the grid in 2023.

This tremendous growth did not happen by accident. Since the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) the solar industry has the policy support and business certainty required to scale up and meet President Biden's ambitious climate goals, create thousands of good-paying careers, and jumpstart American solar manufacturing like never before.

These policy wins were achieved by a pro-solar president, and a host of solar champions in the House and Senate. These champions showed up in a big way for us, and if we want the industry to continue on it's upward trajectory, it's time we showed up for them.
